Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to manage front-desk operations, patient handling, inventory tracking, basic accounting, and telecalling activities. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a healthcare/clinic environment. Key ResponsibilitiesPatient ManagementGreet and assist patients/visitors in a polite and professional manner. Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments. Maintain accurate patient records (manual and/or software-based). Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and staff for smooth patient flow. Handle patient queries, registration, and billing processes. Inventory ManagementMonitor and maintain stock of medical supplies, office materials, and consumables. Keep track of usage and update inventory logs. Raise purchase requests and coordinate with vendors/suppliers. Ensure proper storage and timely replenishment of supplies. Accounting SupportHandle cash transactions, patient billing, and payment receipts. Maintain daily collection reports and submit to management. Assist in data entry for accounts and basic bookkeeping. Reconcile expenses with receipts and invoices. Telecalling & CommunicationMake reminder calls for patient appointments and follow-ups. Call patients for health check-up reminders, promotional offers, or pending payments. Handle incoming and outgoing calls professionally. Maintain records of calls and responses for future reference. Qualifications & SkillsGraduate/ Diploma in any stream (Healthcare/Commerce preferred). Prior experience in healthcare, clinic, or office reception is an advantage. Knowledge of MS Office and patient management software. Strong communication skills in English and local language. Multitasking ability with good organizational skills. Basic knowledge of accounting and inventory management.
