About the Role

React Native Developer

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using

    React Native

    .
  • Design and integrate backend systems using

    Node.js

    , Express.js, and MongoDB or Firebase.
  • Manage

    end-to-end app development

    — from UI to backend APIs to deployment.
  • Deploy apps to

    App Store and Play Store

    , and manage versioning and updates.
  • Setup and manage

    cloud hosting (AWS, Firebase, Heroku, etc.)

    , including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Coordinate with product teams, designers, and QA to deliver quality user experiences.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high app performance, security, and reliability.
  • Maintain project documentation, timelines, and regular progress reporting.

Required Skills

  • 3–6 years of proven experience in

    React Native mobile development

    .
  • Strong backend experience with

    Node.js

    , Express.js, REST APIs.
  • Hands-on with

    Firebase, MongoDB, or other cloud databases

    .
  • End-to-end experience in app publishing (Android & iOS).
  • Experience with

    hosting, deployment, and production monitoring

    .
  • Git, Postman, API tools, crash reporting tools (like Sentry), and performance monitoring.
  • Strong project management mindset — ability to take ownership and deliver on timelines.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with

    TypeScript

    , GraphQL, Redux, or Next.js.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project management.
  • Prior experience in

    HealthTech, EdTech, or early-stage startups

  • Basic UI/UX knowledge to work with designers or build UI directly from wireframes.
