We are currently seeking a skilled Rhodium Production Manager to lead and manage rhodium production operations in our Vasai facility.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced R&D Manager to lead the development of advanced machinery, tools, and chemical processes used in jewellery manufacturing. This role involves overseeing product design, prototyping, testing, and process optimization while managing a multidisciplinary R&D team.

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D projects for advanced machinery, tools, and chemical formulations used in jewellery manufacturing (casting, refining, polishing, cleaning, plating, etc.)
• Oversee the design, prototyping, and performance testing of new equipment
• Develop and optimize chemical and metallurgical processes for refining and surface finishing
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and marketing teams to align product development with market needs
• Monitor industry trends and integrate new materials and technologies into product lines
• Ensure all R&D practices comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Manage and mentor engineers, chemists, and technicians
• Prepare technical documentation, patent drafts, and regulatory support materials

Qualifications

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
• 8–15 years of R&D experience, ideally in jewellery manufacturing, precision machinery, or chemical processing industries
• Strong background in product development, prototyping, and process engineering
• Knowledge of precious metal properties and jewellery-industry chemical processes is highly preferred
• Proficiency in CAD, simulation tools, and lab-scale testing equipment
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
