The Role We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer who will be responsible for leading the Engineering Plastics Business and driving its strategic, operational, and financial performance and the P&L. This role requires strong business acumen, operational excellence, and cross-functional leadership to align the BU’s goals with overall organizational strategy. The COO will ensure customer satisfaction, process efficiency, innovation, and sustainable growth while overseeing plant operations, sales, compliance, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities: A. Strategic Leadership Define and execute the long-term strategic roadmap for LATI-LOXIM. Develop annual and mid-term business plans aligned with corporate goals. Explore strategic opportunities for business expansion and lateral growth across new markets and products. Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements. Increasing the overall technical capabilities of the organization. B. Financial Performance Drive achievement of revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, and ROI targets. Manage P&L for LATI-LOXIM; optimize costs and working capital. Monitor performance across LATI-LOXIM; identify levers for margin improvement. Lead budgeting and resource allocation aligned with strategic priorities. C. Operational Excellence Oversee end-to-end business to ensure timely production, quality assurance, and delivery. Lead continuous improvement efforts in productivity, throughput, and maintenance. D. Oversee branding, marketing, and communications for the Lati-Loxim. Ensure timely execution of customer orders, on-time delivery, and repeat business. E. People & Culture Build and lead a high-performing, cross-functional team. Drive a performance-oriented, collaborative, and learning-driven work culture. Identify and groom future leaders; support succession planning and capability development. Champion employee engagement, retention, and workplace safety. F. Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with internal leaders (CFO, Sales, HR, Plant Heads) to drive alignment. Represent the Lati-Loxim in external forums, industry associations, and government bodies. Maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and regulatory agencies. Skills and Knowledge Strong understanding of engineering plastics (e.g., PA, PBT, PC, ABS, etc.), additives, fillers, and compounding processes. Plant operations, capacity planning, preventive maintenance, safety protocols. Familiarity with extrusion technologies and downstream processing equipment. Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Understanding of industry-specific standards (e.g., UL, ROHS, REACH, ISO/TS, etc.). Identifying product diversification opportunities. Collaborating with sales heads to grow business in key sectors. Interfacing with key clients (especially OEMs/Tier 1s) and regulatory bodies. Vendor negotiations, client escalations, and internal issue resolution. Board reporting, JV communication, and alignment with promoters' vision. This position will be the technical face of the company, taking end-to-end ownership of the entire product value chain – from new product development, formulation, raw material qualification, and application support, to commercial scale-up and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong technical acumen in engineering plastics extrusion, especially for automotive, electrical & electronics (E&E), and white goods applications. The role requires foresight, creativity, and leadership to steer product innovation, keep pace with industry trends, and build a strong team culture of ownership and excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead the full product value chain, including formulation, process optimization, raw material selection, testing, certifications, and application engineering.
