About LATI - LOXIM

11 June 2025 – LATI S.p.A and LOXIM announced the creation of a strategic joint venture aimed at strengthening the presence of both companies in the Indian market for engineering plastics. This agreement follows the spin-off of LOXIM’s Engineering Compounds division and the formation of a new entity, LATI-LOXIM Thermoplastics Private Limited, jointly established by both companies.

The new company will combine LATI's technological know-how, as a European (Italy) leader in high-performance techno polymers, with LOXIM's strong local presence, well-established position in the automotive and electrical markets, and extensive business network across India. LATI - LOXIM operates with an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons and has a prominent presence in the industrial district of Sanand (Gujarat). This robust manufacturing base will enable the joint venture to efficiently address the growing demand in the E&E, automotive, industrial, and consumer goods industry.

The Role

The Business Head will be a proactive, creative, hands-on leader responsible for driving business growth, profitability, and enhancing the LATI-LOXIM brand. You’ll work closely with key clients, internal teams, and stakeholders while maintaining strong industry exposure and established networks across OEMs, Tier 1s, and value chain partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the long-term vision and strategic roadmap for LATI-LOXIM. Drive business growth through new market opportunities, product innovation, and operational scalability.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage effectively with investors, partners, regulatory bodies, and key internal stakeholders to align on strategic goals and strengthen external reputation.
• Financial Stewardship: Own the P&L; drive revenue, EBITDA, and ROI targets. Oversee budgeting, cost optimization, and capital allocation to ensure sustainable financial performance.
• Market & Customer Focus: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to grow market share, enhance brand visibility, and deepen key customer relationships. Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of customer commitments.
• Supply Chain Leadership: Provide strategic oversight to ensure the supply chain function supports cost leadership, raw material efficiency, and long-term vendor partnerships aligned with business goals.
• Operational Excellence: Lead end-to-end operations including production, quality, supply chain, and compliance. Champion efficiency through digitization, automation, and process improvements.
• People & Culture: Build a high-performing leadership team. Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous learning. Lead talent development.

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong understanding of engineering plastics and compounding technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution-oriented mindset with the ability to drive transformation and innovation.
• Commercial acumen in P&L ownership, budgeting, cost control, and financial performance management.
• Experience in strategic client engagement (especially OEMs/Tier 1s), vendor negotiations, and regulatory interfacing.
• Proven ability to scale business, diversify product offerings, and expand into new markets.
