R&D Executive & Coordinator

Role Objective To support the R&D, technical service, and sales team by conducting lab-scale modified starch trials, assisting in on-field customer trials, and maintaining structured reports for product development, performance evaluation, and customer complaint resolution. ⸻ Key Roles & Responsibilities 1. Lab Trials & Product Development • Conduct small-scale modified starch trials in the laboratory under guidance of senior staff. • Assist in formulation testing, quality checks, and sample preparation for internal and customer trials. • Maintain proper documentation of lab experiments and outcomes. 2. Field Trial Support • Collaborate with technicians and sales representatives during on-site customer trials. • Provide technical support during adhesive applications at customer corrugation/packaging sites. • Collect performance data and feedback from field trials. 3. Report & Documentation Management • Prepare and maintain trial reports, customer complaint reports, and technical service records. • Manage a customer-wise database of trials, results, and resolutions. • Assist in preparing presentations or technical notes for internal and external use. 4. Customer Complaint Handling • Log, track, and analyze customer complaints related to starch-based adhesives. • Coordinate with production, quality, and sales teams for timely closure of complaints. • Ensure systematic root-cause analysis and corrective action reporting. 5. Knowledge & Learning • Develop a strong understanding of modified starches, paper packaging adhesives, and corrugation processes. • Stay updated with industry trends in paper packaging & starch adhesives. • Contribute ideas for process improvement and product enhancement. Key Skills Required • Strong fundamentals in chemistry and analytical methods. • Good communication skills to coordinate with sales, production, and customers. • Basic knowledge of paper packaging / corrugation industry is a plus. • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for report preparation. • Willingness to travel to our manufacturing facilities if required.  ⸻ Reporting To Department head (R&D) & Managing Director. ⸻ Remuneration & Benefits • Competitive salary based on qualification & experience. • Exposure to industrial R&D, technical service, and customer interaction. • Opportunity to work in a growing starch-based adhesive company with pan-India reach.
