Raw Material Store Manager

Role Summary

The Store Head is responsible for overseeing all store operations within the manufacturing facility, including raw material handling, inventory control, safety compliance, and documentation. The role ensures uninterrupted material availability for production while maintaining accuracy, cost efficiency, and adherence to company policies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Manage receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, consumables, spares, tools, and finished goods.
• Implement and monitor FIFO, stock rotation, and batch control.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through perpetual inventory checks and monthly/quarterly physical stock audits.
• Maintain optimal minimum & maximum stock levels as per production requirements & DAILY GENERATE SHORTAGE REPORT to purchase & ENSURE follow till MSL stock is reached.

2. Store Operations

• Oversee unloading, verification, and tagging of incoming materials.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse conditions.
• Ensure proper packing, storage, and shelf-life monitoring of sensitive materials.

3. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain all store records: GRN, MRN, issue slips, material transfer notes, and stock registers.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, 5S, and audit standards.
• Ensure RECONCILATION of Physical vs Bin Cards vs Excel/ERP
• Coordinate with Quality for material inspection and clearance.
• Inventory accuracy level (%).
• Material availability vs. production schedule.
• Reduction in non-moving/slow-moving stock.
• Compliance with audit and safety standards.
• Warehouse 5S score.

4. Coordination

• Work closely with production, purchase, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely material flow.
• Communicate shortages, non-moving & slow-moving stock to management.

5. People Management

• Supervise storekeepers, material handlers, and warehouse personnel.
• Ensure compliance on safety, inventory management, 5S, and ERP usage.

6. Systems & Technology

• Operate ERP/Tally/Excel
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory & consumption reports.

7. Cost Control

• Reduce material wastage and control handling costs.
• Monitor supplier return items and scrap disposal processes.
• Handled Over 500+ Line Items comprising of Sheet metals, Rubber, Plastic, Steel, Packaging material commodity.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Inventory Management, SAP/ERP, MRP, Warehouse Layout, FIFO/FEFO, 5S, and Safety Compliance.

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with ERP systems is mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹550,000.00 per year
