We make sure that Varian activities relating to ionizing radiation safety are properly authorized and conducted in compliance with applicable local law and following national and international standards. We also ensure a safe radiation environment for all Varian employees and the public. Radiation Safety International is supporting the Varian Teams (Sales/Installation/Service/Logistics) in all radiation safety related issues.As the Radiation Safety Support Specialist, you will manage routine radiation safety tasks and provide administrative support to the Radiation Safety International Team.
Major Responsibilities
- Collecting documents and required compliance data mainly from internal sources
- Follow-up on missing or incomplete information
- Analyze and verify data
- Reliably maintain various Excel and SharePoint databases with important compliance information
- Preparation of charts and dashboards
- Project support (coordination and organization)
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge and proficiency of standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
- Scientific higher education (university)
- Self-motivated, reliable, quality minded, creative and customer focused
- Good communication skills
- Excellent English language a must (minimum CEFR C1 level) - additional languages a plus
- Enjoys working in an international team and supporting activities in EMEA and APAC
