• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled.
• Prepare bills of quantities by analyzing architectural and engineering drawings.
• Assist in the preparation of contract documents, including tenders and contracts.
• Evaluate and negotiate variations and claims
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Prepare and submit client bills and invoices as per the agreed schedule.
• Certify subcontractor bills and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and project documentation.
• Conduct on-site measurements and valuations.
• Assess and certify the work completed by contractors.
• Prepare interim payment certificates and final accounts.
• Monitor project expenditures and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare regular financial reports, including cost-to-complete and budget vs. actual reports.
• Advise management on cost variations and financial risks.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure accurate billing and cost management.
• Provide regular updates to the project manager and senior management on financial progress.
  

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, billing, or a related role in the construction industry.
