Estimation & Tendering - Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed project cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and site conditions Analyse tender documents, technical specifications, and BOQs Prepare and review quantity take-offs and pricing of work items Coordinate with project, procurement, and engineering teams to gather necessary inputs Evaluate vendor quotations and prepare cost comparisons Assist in pre-qualification, tender submission, and bid documentation Monitor market trends, rates, and material pricing to ensure competitive estimates Support post-tender activities including negotiations and clarifications Prepare rate analysis of BOQ items Prepare comparative statements Skills & Requirements: Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying 8–10 years of relevant experience in estimation and tendering for civil projects Strong command over quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and rate analysis Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., Candy, Primavera, etc.) Familiarity with government and private sector tendering processes Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
