Role Overview

Quality Inspector

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished products
• Conduct visual, dimensional, and technical quality checks using appropriate tools
• Maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation
• Coordinate with production supervisors to resolve quality issues
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal specifications
• Oversee maintenance of equipment used in inspection and quality testing
• Monitor plant operations and ensure adherence to process guidelines
• Identify defects, suggest improvements, and support corrective action plans
• Assist in drafting and updating SOPs, quality manuals, and safety standards
• Support product dispatch team by verifying quality before shipment

Ideal Candidate

• ITI certification or relevant technical education (Required)
• Sound knowledge of

  AutoCAD

  and ability to read technical drawings (Required)

• 1–3 years of experience

  in quality inspection, plant supervision, or steel/industrial manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of measurement tools (micrometers, vernier calipers, gauges, etc.)
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, ISO standards, and process documentation (Preferred)
• Ability to troubleshoot quality issues and coordinate with production teams
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical mindset
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, email communication)
• Self-driven, responsible, and able to work independently
