Job Title: Quality Inspector

Company: Flourtech Engineers Pvt. Ltd., Plot No. 182, Lakhani Disa Road, Sector 24, Faridabad, Haryana 121005

Location: Faridabad, Haryana Role Overview

As a Quality Inspector at Flourtech Engineers, you will be responsible for inspecting machined parts, assemblies and finished equipment components to ensure they meet the required dimensional, visual, functional and drawing‐based specifications. You will use precision measuring instruments (micrometer, height gauge, vernier caliper, etc.), interpret basic engineering drawings, and record inspection results. Your role is key in maintaining the company’s high standards of quality and supporting on‐time deliveries of high-performance machinery.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct dimensional inspections of components (castings, machined parts, fabricated assemblies) according to drawings, specifications and tolerances.

Use measuring instruments such as micrometer, height gauge, vernier caliper, gauge blocks, etc for accurate measurement.

Note: Hands-on experience with micrometer, height gauge, vernier caliper is important.

Perform visual inspection for surface defects, weld quality, finishing, assembly fit, and other workmanship issues.

Review and understand basic engineering drawings, work orders, inspection checklists and tolerance tables.

Record inspection results in quality logs/check sheets, identify non‐conforming items, and tag/segregate defective parts.

Communicate with production, machining, assembly and quality teams about findings and corrective actions.

Participate in root‐cause discussions for recurring quality issues and support implementation of corrective/preventive action (CAPA).

Ensure calibration status of measuring equipment is valid; report any instrument issues.

Assist quality team during internal audits and external customer/vendor inspections when required.

Maintain work area and inspection equipment in good order; adhere to safety, housekeeping and quality standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Option A (ITI route): ITI (Mechanical / Tool & Die / Fitter / Machinist) with minimum 3–4 years of experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment (preferably on machined parts, assemblies).

Option B (Degree route): Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent with minimum 1–2 years of relevant inspection or manufacturing experience.

Must have hands‐on experience using a micrometer (preferably outside‐micrometer), height gauge, vernier caliper and similar precision measuring instruments for at least 1 year.

Basic understanding of engineering drawings: ability to read dimensions, tolerances, GD&T (geometric dimensioning & tolerancing) at a fundamental level.

Prior exposure to manufacturing/engineering environment (machining, fabrication, assembly) is beneficial.

Skills & Competencies

* Strong attention to detail and high sense of quality and precision.

* Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.

* Good manual dexterity and comfort working with measuring instruments and gauges.

* Basic computer skills (MS Excel or similar) for recording inspection data and logs.

* Good communication skills to liaise with manufacturing, quality and engineering teams.

* Proactive attitude: ability to identify inspection issues, raise flags early, and support improvements.

* Reliability and willingness to work on shop floor; comfortable in a manufacturing environment with machine noise, metal parts, fabrication etc.

Working Conditions

On‐site at Faridabad manufacturing facility.

Factory/Workshop environment: exposure to metal parts, machining operations, fabrication, lifting components. Use of PPE (safety shoes, goggles, ear protection) required.

Shift or fixed hours as per production schedule (to be defined by company).

Periodic overtime may be required depending on inspection backlog, urgent orders or project deadlines.
