Job Title: Quality Inspector

Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC)

Location: Borivali/Wada

Reports To: Quality Supervisor / Quality Manager / Production Head

Job Summary:

The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications. The role involves maintaining documentation, identifying defects, and coordinating with production teams to correct quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.

Use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other tools to verify product dimensions.

Ensure compliance with company quality standards, drawings, and customer specifications.

Record and maintain inspection results, reports, and non-conformance data accurately.

Identify defects or deviations and communicate findings to production or engineering teams for corrective actions.

Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures.

Monitor rework and repair processes to ensure product quality is maintained.

Support internal and external audits as required.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of inspection tools and work areas.

Follow safety, environmental, and company policies during inspection activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related field.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in manufacturing or production.

Skills:

Knowledge of inspection and testing methods

Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications

Proficiency in using measurement instruments and quality tools

Good observation and analytical skills

Basic computer literacy (MS Office, ERP, quality documentation)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
