Job Description

Role Overview: As a Quality Engineer specializing in Injection Molding, your primary responsibility is to uphold the highest quality standards in the injection molding processes and products. You will be involved in implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with various teams to enhance product quality and process efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Machine Handling: CMM, VMM/VMS, PROFILE PROJECTOR - Quality Control and Assurance: - Develop and implement quality control plans and standards for injection molding processes. - Monitor process performance to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards. - Conduct audits to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions. - Review product defects, determine root causes, and recommend solutions. - Establish and maintain inspection and testing protocols to meet required standards. - Process Optimization and Improvement: - Collaborate with the production team to optimize the injection molding process for efficiency, reduced scrap, and minimal downtime. - Lead continuous improvement projects using tools like Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis. - Analyze inspection data to propose process improvements. - Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain quality documentation, test reports, certifications, and inspection records. - Prepare quality reports and presentations for management and clients, highlighting trends and areas for improvement. - Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry-specific quality standards. - Supplier and Customer Interaction: - Work with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality standards. - Address customer complaints related to product quality and implement corrective actions. - Training and Support: - Provide training to production personnel on quality standards, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques. - Assist in developing work instructions and SOPs for quality processes. Qualification Required: - 5 to 10 years of experience in Injection Moulding & Toolroom Area. - Proficiency in using tools like Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis. - Strong understanding of quality control procedures and industry standards. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Experience in developing quality documentation and reports. - Knowledge of regulatory and industry-specific quality standards and certifications. Please note that the job type for this position is full-time and the work location is in person. Additionally, benefits include food provision and Provident Fund.
