Job Title: Quality Residential Inspector (Metrology) Location: Hosur, Tamil Nadu Company: Crown Quality Services (for OEM Client – Ashok Leyland) About Us Crown Quality Services is a leading QA/QC company in India, providing end-to-end quality management solutions for top OEMs in the automotive industry. We are currently hiring a Quality Residential Inspector (Metrology) to manage quality functions for our prestigious client, Ashok Leyland . Key Responsibilities Perform quality inspection of materials, metals, and heat-treated components. Operate hardness testers, cutting, and drilling tools for material evaluation. Handle Hot Molding and Auto-Polishing machines for sample preparation. Read and interpret engineering drawings and material specifications. Ensure safety compliance while handling and operating testing equipment. Prepare inspection reports and maintain documentation using MS Office. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues. Qualifications BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Metrology. 1–4 years of experience in material testing and quality inspection. Skills Required Strong understanding of materials, metals, and heat treatment processes. Hands-on experience with material testing equipment and inspection tools. Knowledge of engineering drawings and quality standards. Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation. Good communication and problem-solving skills.
