Quality HOD( Manufacturing)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams.
• Establish and implement robust quality control systems for raw materials, in-process checks, and final product inspection.
• Develop and maintain ISO 9001 and other relevant quality certifications.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
• Monitor and ensure product compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Implement quality improvement plans, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies where applicable.
• Collaborate with the production, maintenance, and R&D teams for continuous quality improvement.
• Manage internal audits, customer audits, and third-party inspections.
• Develop training programs for quality team members and production staff to ensure quality awareness.
• Report key quality metrics and maintain proper documentation and reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in a quality leadership role in a manufacturing setup.
• Strong understanding of mechanical components, metallurgy, and machining processes.
• Familiarity with testing equipment, quality tools (7 QC tools, FMEA, SPC, MSA, etc.).
• Working knowledge of ISO/TS standards, QMS documentation, and audits.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Preferred:

• Six Sigma Certification (Green/Black Belt)
• Experience in chain or similar precision component manufacturing
• ERP and data analytics exposure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
