Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 2–5 years of experience testing both Front-End and Back-End applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of manual and automation testing processes and will ensure the quality and reliability of our software systems. Responsibilities: Conduct manual testing for front-end (UI) and back-end (API/database) components to verify functionality, usability, and performance. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks. Write comprehensive test plans, test cases, and detailed test reports. Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution. Perform API testing using tools like Postman to validate data flow and integration. Execute and maintain regression, smoke, integration, and system-level tests to ensure product stability. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing. Requirements: 2–5 years of experience in manual and automation testing of web applications. Hands-on experience with frontend testing (UI validation) and backend testing (API/Database testing). Strong expertise in test automation using tools such as Selenium . Proficiency in using tools like Postman for API testing and basic knowledge of performance testing. Ability to write and execute basic to intermediate SQL queries for backend validation. Strong understanding of the software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect tracking processes. Experience with tools like JIRA , or other test management platforms. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
