Quality Control Engineer

• Conduct inspection and testing of furniture products at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality test results, inspection reports, and non-conformance data.
• Collaborate with production, design, and assembly teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, ISO standards, safety norms, and company quality policies.
• Work closely with suppliers to verify the quality of incoming raw materials, hardware, and components.
• Investigate root causes of product quality issues, customer complaints, or process deviations, and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Support internal and external audits (ISO, SEDEX, customer audits, etc.) and ensure timely documentation, compliance, and closure of findings.
• Train and guide QC inspectors in inspection methods, testing parameters, and standard quality practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and minimize rework or rejection rates.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes, materials (e.g., plywood, MDF, laminates), and finishing standards.
• Proficient in quality control tools and techniques such as 5 Whys and CAPA methodology.
• Sound knowledge of ISO standards, audit procedures, and quality documentation practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and quality documentation/reporting tools.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
