Role Overview

The QA Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of GrabOn’s products and services by designing, executing, and maintaining robust testing processes. This role will work closely with the development, product, and operations teams to identify, document, and resolve issues before they reach production.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing features.
• Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure stability.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of QA documentation and testing standards.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance overall product quality and efficiency.
• Support continuous integration and deployment processes with proper QA sign-offs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in software quality assurance (manual and/or automation).
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience in writing clear and detailed test cases.
• Proficiency with bug tracking tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar.
• Hands-on experience in web and mobile testing (iOS, Android).
• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries.
• Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
