Quality Assurance Tester

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks. Your role will involve collaborating with developers and product teams to comprehend application features and requirements. You will be executing automated test cases, analyzing results to identify issues, and integrating test scripts into CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins or GitLab CI. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining and updating test environments and data, reporting bugs with clear documentation, and assisting in troubleshooting. Your contribution to test planning, estimation, and strategy will be vital for the success of the testing process. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, coupled with a strong comprehension of Automation testing concepts. A solid knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or equivalent test automation tools is essential. Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is required. Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar is also necessary. An understanding of software testing methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum, is crucial. Furthermore, familiarity with version control systems like Git and a basic understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions will be advantageous. In addition to the core requirements, exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter, experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber, knowledge of cloud testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs, and familiarity with database testing involving SQL queries would be considered as nice-to-have skills for this role.,
