Quality Assurance Tester

Job Description You are a QA Database Tester with over 5 years of hands-on experience in database testing, focusing on backend systems. Your expertise lies in advanced SQL skills, including writing complex joins, nested queries, and subqueries. You have experience working with stored procedures, triggers, and database functions, ensuring data quality and integrity across systems and applications. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail will be crucial in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute test cases and scripts with a focus on data validation and backend testing. - Write and optimize complex SQL queries to validate data transformations, business rules, and ETL processes. - Review and analyze stored procedures to ensure proper logic and data handling. - Work closely with cross-functional agile teams to understand requirements and translate them into test plans. - Track and manage defects using JIRA, ensuring clear documentation and timely resolution. - Perform regression and integration testing for database-related changes. - Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data consistency and system reliability.
