Senior Quality Analyst (Manual Testing)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform

  manual testing

  across multiple related applications to ensure functional accuracy, performance, and reliability.
• Conduct

  API testing

  using tools such as

  Postman

  and

  SOAPUI

  to validate system integrations.
• Design, develop, and execute

  comprehensive test plans and test cases

  based on business and technical requirements.
• Write and execute

  complex SQL queries

  to validate data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Analyze and resolve

  database-related issues

  in coordination with development teams.
• Identify, document, and track

  defects

  using standard defect tracking systems.
• Communicate

  testing status, risks, and issues

  effectively with stakeholders and developers.
• Participate in the continuous

  improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies

  .
• Collaborate with

  cross-functional teams

  , including developers, product owners, and business analysts, to ensure clarity of requirements and alignment of test objectives.
• Contribute to team growth through

Domain Expertise:

• Apply

  Insurance domain (P&C)

  knowledge to design business-relevant test scenarios.
• Collaborate with business teams to ensure

  test coverage aligns with business requirements

  and objectives.

Test Automation (Added Advantage):

• Develop and maintain

  automated test scripts

  for functional and API testing.
• Contribute to

  test automation frameworks

  and

  CI/CD pipeline integration

  .
• Exposure to

  end-to-end automation frameworks

  is an added advantage.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Computer Science, Information Technology

  , or a related discipline.
• Minimum

  4+ years of experience

  in software testing with a focus on

  manual testing, API testing, and SQL

  (total experience: 6–8 years).
• Strong proficiency in

  writing advanced SQL queries

  for data validation and reporting.
• Excellent

  analytical, problem-solving, and communication

  skills.
• Experience working in

  agile or fast-paced development environments

  .
• Proven ability to manage

  multiple products and priorities

  simultaneously.
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
