Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through manual and automated testing. This role requires strong analytical skills, a passion for problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
Perform manual and automated testing (functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing).
Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Trello).
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and deadlines.
Conduct root cause analysis of defects and recommend improvements.
Maintain and improve QA processes, documentation, and reporting.
Stay updated with industry best practices and testing tools.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JMeter, Playwright).
Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.
Familiarity with API testing and version control systems (Git).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering quality.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
ISTQB or other QA certification.
Familiarity with performance and security testing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
