This position is ON-SITE Working in the office 5 days / week. You'll be well placed in our dynamic and friendly Development Team. Situated in the prestigious Silver Utopia Building, Chakala, Andheri East, Mumbai – 400099, Maharashtra We are looking for a hands-on QA Engineer with 4-5 years of experience to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role, ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, process-driven, and passionate about delivering bug-free, high-quality applications across web and mobile platforms. You will make significant contributions to the mobile payments industry by bringing engineering excellence in innovating new features and functions in customer centric applications. You will analyse product requirements, design implementations, and participate in integration testing. You will be part of a very innovative, dedicated, and high-performance team and need to match their level of excellence and diligence in delivering world-class banking applications. Role specific responsibilities Key Responsibilities ● Create and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications ● Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and define test strategies. ● Identify, document, and track bugs, issues, and inconsistencies using tools like JIRA or similar. ● Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. ● Ensure all releases are stable, scalable, and user-friendly before deployment. ● Collaborate on setting up CI/CD pipelines and automated test suites. ● Participate in scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement. Required Skills ● Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. ● Experience with manual testing and knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter, Cypress). ● Familiarity with REST APIs and testing tools like Swagger/Postman. ● Good understanding of SDLC and Agile workflows. ● Excellent attention to detail and a critical thinking mindset. ● Knowledge of JIRA, TestRail, Git, or similar tools is a plus. ● Strong communication skills and ability to work in collaborative, fast-paced teams. Qualifications & experience: Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s / master’s degree in engineering (Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related) Minimum 4-5 years of experience of hands-on QA/testing.
