Quality Assurance ( Manual Tester)

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Manual Tester with 6 months to 1 year of experience to join our Quality Assurance team. You will be responsible for manually testing software applications to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements, identifying bugs, and working closely with developers to resolve them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and understand business requirements, technical specifications, and design documents.
• Design, write, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and smoke testing.
• Identify, record, and track defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
• Ensure that software releases meet quality standards before deployment.
• Document test results and provide feedback for improvements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills:

• Basic understanding of the SDLC and STLC.
• Experience writing and executing manual test cases.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
• Knowledge of test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of API testing (Postman, REST basics).
• Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.

•Familiarity with automation tools.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
