Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and motivate a team of 7+ QA analysts.

Quality Assurance

• Design and implement comprehensive test plans covering all areas of the software, including functionality, performance, security, and usability.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Conduct thorough manual testing to complement automated testing and identify edge cases.
• Perform effective regression testing to ensure quality is maintained during development cycles.
• Work closely with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects efficiently.
• Track and report key QA metrics like defect density, test coverage, and test execution time.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest QA trends, tools, and methodologies.
  

Process Improvement

• Continuously evaluate and improve existing QA processes and methodologies.
• Collaborate with other teams (e.g., development, product) to streamline workflows and improve overall software quality.
• Implement best practices in test automation, test data management, and reporting.
  

Communication

• Clearly communicate testing results, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Participate in discussions with development and product teams to provide valuable insights.
• Document test plans, procedures, and results clearly and concisely.
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2+ years in a lead role.
• Proven track record of leading and motivating QA teams.
• Strong understanding of various testing methodologies (e.g., black-box, white-box, grey-box, functional, non-functional).
• In-depth knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with manual testing techniques and tools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Proficient in English, spoken and written.
