As a Quality Assurance leader at EisnerAmper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and efficient IT solutions. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and implementing quality assurance strategies and processes for both manual and automated testing across Business-As-Usual (BAU) tasks and multiple transformation initiatives. This position demands analytical skills in a fast-paced setting where you will be expected to perform effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities: - Possessing 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on Software Testing tailored for USA clients. - Prior experience in QA Tax domain specific to the USA market is highly preferred. - Conducting comprehensive testing of tax preparation software and systems to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal and state tax regulations in the USA, including Internal Revenue Service (IRS) guidelines. - Validating the calculation and reporting of various tax liabilities, deductions, credits, and exemptions with a focus on error detection. - Developing and executing test cases to evaluate the functionality and performance of tax calculation engines, electronic filing systems, and tax reporting interfaces. - Demonstrating strong expertise in QA methodologies, tools, and best practices, including hands-on experience in test planning, test case design, and test execution. - Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities concurrently, and collaborate effectively with internal tax teams. - Leading and mentoring a global team of quality assurance professionals, including both employees and contingent workers. Required Qualifications: - Holding a post-graduation degree in Finance, Taxation, or a related field, with a solid understanding of taxation principles, regulations, and compliance requirements. - Having 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a demonstrated ability to apply domain expertise to testing activities and suggest product enhancements. - Familiarity with test planning, execution, and defect management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA), along with experience in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium). - Demonstrating excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue identification and resolution. - Possessing strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather requirements and feedback. - Showing eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies, with a focus on continuous improvement and professional development. - Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) and experience in Agile or DevOps environments are desirable but not mandatory. - Knowledge of quality assurance standards and best practices. Additional Skills: - Experience in app-based automation testing. - Proficiency in SQL/ database knowledge. - Experience in verifying highly available systems" performance for effectiveness, growth/scaling requirements, security, and compliance. - Previous involvement in a complete ground-up product deployment. - Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Jira would be advantageous. - Proficiency in Selenium, SAP cloud ALM, JMETER, Postman, HTML, XML, SQL, and JSon.
