ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Lead – Apparel to head our quality function. This role is critical in ensuring that every fabric and garment at SAADAA meets our highest standards of quality and simplicity.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

• Develop, implement, and monitor end-to-end quality assurance processes for fabrics and garments
• Lead inspections at all stages — raw material, inline, and final shipment
• Manage and expand the vendor base to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery
• Collaborate closely with design, production, and merchandising teams to ensure all specifications are feasible and consistently met
• Liaise with vendors and factories to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues, providing technical guidance as needed
• Conduct regular audits of vendor facilities to ensure compliance with SAADAA’s quality standards and sustainability practices
• Develop and deliver training modules on quality standards for internal teams and vendor partners
• Analyze quality reports to identify root causes and drive corrective and preventive measures

WHO YOU ARE

• Minimum 8+ years of proven experience in garment quality management
• Strong technical knowledge of fabric and garment construction, especially in knitwear and wovenwear
• Bring an existing vendor network relevant to our product categories
• Experience from a reputed brand side preferred; strong manufacturing background will also be considered
• Formal education in Textile Engineering or a related field
• Proactive problem solver with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Willing to travel for vendor visits and factory audits as needed
