Your Impact

At OpenText, we are looking at motivated highly passionate Senior QA for OpenText Operations Bridge Manager (OBM), which is part of ITOM BU. The candidate must have the experience, talent, skill set and confidence to work with world-class development team at the OpenText office in Bengaluru, India.

What The Role Offers

• Installation/configuration/administration skills of one or more of Windows, Linux operating systems
• Good understanding of Active Directory concepts
• Thorough understanding of HTTP, LDAP, and SSL protocols
• Understanding of database concepts
• Experience with Cloud deployment
• Experience in test automation using a Java programming or Python / Shell scripting language.
• Exposure to SOAP, REST services, API testing
• Working knowledge with one of the Application servers like Apache/Tomcat
  

What You Need To Succeed

• Understanding of programming languages and scripting.
• Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks to enhance efficiency.
• Knowledge of database management and SQL.
• Understanding of various testing methodologies (e.g., manual testing, automated testing, performance testing).
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases.
• Ability to analyze requirements and identify potential issues.
• Effective problem-solving skills to debug and troubleshoot.
• Thoroughness in identifying defects and ensuring accurate test coverage.
• Ability to adapt to changes in requirements and technologies.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a high-quality product.
