About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer (Fresher) to join our growing engineering team in Kochi. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates who are passionate about software quality and eager to start their career in testing and automation. You will work closely with experienced QA engineers and developers, gaining hands-on experience in testing modern web applications and contributing to the overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and executing test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, and UI testing.
• Learn and contribute to test automation frameworks and write basic automated test scripts.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand features and requirements.
• Help identify, document, and track bugs using test management tools.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and QA review meetings.
• Learn API testing using tools like Postman.
• Understand and support the QA team’s contribution to CI/CD processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts (STLC, SDLC, test case writing, bug life cycle).
• Familiarity with any programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong willingness to learn automation tools and testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: ₹11,843.57 - ₹15,000.00 per month
