Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Overview:

As an Automation/Manual QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, performing manual testing, and developing automated test scripts. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software testing principles, a passion for quality assurance, and experience with both manual and automated testing tools.

Key Responsibilitie

1. :Test Planning: Collaborate with the QA team, developers, and product managers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans for new features and enhancements
2. .Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects, ensure functionality, and verify compliance with specifications
3. .Test Case Design: Design and develop detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on functional requirements and user stories
4. .Automation Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium or Cypress
5. .Test Execution: Execute test cases and automated scripts, report defects, and verify their resolution in a timely manner
6. .Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains intact after code changes and updates
7. .Defect Management: Document and track defects using bug tracking systems, work closely with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues
8. .Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the QA team and participate in initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness
9. .Test Documentation: Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results reports
