Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities -

? Understand and validate product requirements, especially around data pipelines, forecasting

engines, and user interfaces

? Design, document, and execute detailed test plans and test cases

? Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing

? Identify, log, track, and verify bugs using JIRA or similar tools

? Collaborate closely with developers to debug issues and drive resolution

? Create and maintain automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Postman, REST-assured, etc.

? Participate in release cycles, ensuring QA coverage across CI/CD environments

? Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of deployed models and systems

? Own QA processes end-to-end for your modules and act as the quality gatekeeper before

production releases

Required Skills -

? 25 years of experience in software QA, with at least 12 years focused on automation testing

? Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices

? Experience testing web-based applications and backend enterprise systems

? Hands-on with REST API testing using Postman or equivalent tools

? Proficiency with automation frameworks/tools such as:

? Selenium

? Playwright

? Pytest or similar

? Familiarity with programming/scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, Java, or TypeScript

? Strong skills in SQL for data validation and backend testing

? Excellent analytical and debugging abilities

? Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

Preferred (Good to Have) -

? Exposure to AI/ML-based platforms or data-heavy applications

? Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner

? Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)

? Knowledge of version control systems like Git
