Quality assurance and audit manager

Job Title: Process Quality Assurance & Audit Manager Department: Quality Location: Noida Reporting To: Quality Manager / Plant Head / Management Note: Bold lines are must haves, rest items are good to have. Job Summary: *responsibly for ensuring and improving the quality of manufacturing processes and components in electric motor production. This includes monitoring process parameters, identifying defects, enforcing quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer and regulatory requirements. Maintaining documentation and updating required details and managing 5S at different locations.* Key Responsibilities: Monitor, evaluate, enforce and improve in-process quality parameters across motor manufacturing lines. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for in-process defects and coordinate with production to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), inspection plans, and quality checklists. Ensure calibration and proper use of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Perform regular audits of processes, workstations, and materials to ensure adherence to quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Production, Maintenance) to enhance process capability and reduce variability. Train and guide operators and inspectors on quality standards and best practices. Maintain proper documentation for BIS records, quality records, production records, non-conformances, and Process Changes. Support ISO 9001 and other relevant audits, and contribute to compliance with safety and quality regulations. 5S on floors. Documents updation with team and management. Key Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of electric motor components and manufacturing processes. Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments. Understanding of quality tools such as 7QC tools, FMEA, SPC, and control plans. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive improvements. Familiarity with ISO 9001, 5S and other quality management systems. Effective communication and documentation skills. Qualifications and Experience: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical.
