  • The role requires involvement in client service, with an opportunity to interact with clients and other team members to deliver on specific tasks assigned.
  • The candidate should have experience in having applied a wide range of accounting standards.
  • This is very relevant for advising clients on complex accounting issues and GAAP transition.
  • Following areas with prior experience will be considered as an added advantage:
  • Handling teams with review and supervision responsibilities, and
  • Involvement in client engagements under IFRS/ Ind AS/ US GAAP framework.
  • The role will involve preparation of financial statements, working papers for audits including reconciliations, assisting clients in project management, and coordination of audits/ due diligence process.
  • Based on regular performance evaluations, higher levels of responsibility will be assigned, including a managerial role based on readiness.

Requirements

  • Academic knowledge on accounting and strong knowledge of the concepts of GAAP, GAAS and Taxation with a strong clarity
  • Good communication skills with fluency in English language
  • Strong written communication skills for report writing and drafting documents.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to connect well with clients and colleagues
  • Passion for working in a professional service environment with an intellectual curiosity and strong work ethic
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented, hands-on and developed execution skills.
  • Multi-tasking - ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership experience with proven ability to maintain relationships, influence change and add value.
  • Promote a high level of ethical awareness within the team and the overall firm.
  • Proactive and a problem-solving mindset
  • Practical working knowledge of MS Office. Knowledge of ERP – SAP, Tally, Oracle
