Job Summary

As a QC Trainee in IT, you will be responsible for assisting in the testing and quality assurance of software applications, systems, and IT solutions. You will work closely with the development and QA teams to identify defects, ensure compliance with quality standards, and gain hands-on experience in the software testing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
  
• Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  
• Report bugs and track them using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar).
  
• Support the team in regression, integration, and system testing.
  
• Document test results and prepare test reports.
  
• Learn and apply quality control processes, standards, and methodologies.
  
• Collaborate with developers and QA team members to resolve issues.
  
• Stay updated with IT quality assurance tools, technologies, and trends.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• Basic understanding of software development and testing lifecycle (SDLC & STLC).
  
• Knowledge of manual testing concepts; exposure to automation tools is an advantage.
  
• Familiarity with databases and basic SQL queries is a plus.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the IT quality assurance domain.
