QC Analyst

Experience:

• 1–2 years in QC testing of cosmetics / personal care / FMCG/ pharma.

Key Responsibilities

1. Laboratory Testing & Operations

• Conduct routine and non-routine QC tests on finished goods, raw materials, and packaging (e.g., physical, chemical, microbiological, and stability testing).
• Operate and maintain QC instruments such as viscometers, rheometers, pH meters, stability chambers, and microbial testing setups.
• Ensure proper sample handling, preparation, and traceability.
• Follow SOPs, GLP, and safety protocols during all lab activities.

2. Data Recording & Analytics

• Accurately document all test results in lab notebooks, LIMS/ERP, or QC databases.
• Analyze data trends across batches, SKUs, and product categories.
• Identify deviations, anomalies, and recurring issues in test results.
• Benchmark internal results against product specifications, competitor standards, and regulatory limits.

3. Insights & Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QC performance reports for internal stakeholders.
• Provide actionable insights to product development, supply chain, and procurement teams.
• Support decision-making on formulation adjustments, supplier changes, or process improvements.

4. Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure all testing aligns with applicable standards (FSSAI, BIS, ISO, GMP).
• Support audits with robust documentation and traceable test records.
• Recommend improvements in testing methodology, equipment calibration, and data automation.
• Stay updated with new testing techniques and regulatory updates.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong foundation in lab testing methods (physical, chemical, and microbiological).
• Hands-on experience with QC instruments and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel mandatory; SQL/R/Python is a plus).
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and record-keeping discipline.
• Ability to translate technical findings into clear business insights.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
