Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled QA Tester (Automation & Manual) to join our quality assurance team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing both manual and automated test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and experience working with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on requirements and specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Ensure testing is performed in accordance with QA standards and best practices.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and suggest process improvements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure delivery of high-quality software.
• Prepare test reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, etc.).
• Experience with manual testing of web, mobile, and API applications.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Trello).
• Basic understanding of SQL for database validation.
• Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Experience in API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• ISTQB or similar QA certification.
