In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and usability of our mobile applications across various platforms (Web, iOS and Android). You will identify and report bugs, write clear and concise test cases, and collaborate with developers to ensure a smooth and successful launch.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Percent of Time* Design and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications across different functionalities.* Analyze software requirements and user stories to develop comprehensive test plans.* Identify and report bugs and usability issues clearly and concisely using a bug tracking system.* Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on potential issues.* Collaborate effectively with developers and other stakeholders to resolve defects and improve overall application quality. 95* Stay up-to-date on the latest mobile testing tools and methodologies 5* One of the positions will be a technical team lead and allocate ~15% to management of the technical team 15ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS* Collaboration with product managers and product ownersEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelors in Software EngineeringTECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTSRequired:* Minimum 3+ years of experience in web and mobile application testing (iOS and/or Android).* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile)* Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for usability issues.* Effective communication and collaboration skills.* Experience with manual and exploratory testing techniques.* Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks (e.g., XCTest, Espresso) a plus.* Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) a plus.* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Excellent communication and collaboration skillsDesired:* For the leading position 3-5 years experience with leading a technical team* Experience with Selenium or selenium* Proficiency in Python (v3.10 or later) and experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Pytest)* Experience with API testing and performance testing* Experience with GitHub Actions as it applies to automation in a CI/DC pipeline* Experience with Docker, Node.js (v18 or later), and Kafka a plus* Experience with Appium or other mobile automation tools.* Experience with performance testing tools.* Experience with different mobile device platforms and emulators.* A passion for mobile technology and a strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles.PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTSRegular working hours are from 11:00 PM to 8: 00 PM IST or 2:00 PM to 11:00pm IST. Sometimes, more overlap with the EST Time zone is required.
