The company also exports critical heavy machinery components to Japan, Singapore ensuring high-quality standards and precision in their products.

Role Description

Deputy Welding Coordinator (DWC) cum QA/QC Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections – Incoming, In-process, Final (PDI), and First Article.
Support ISO 3834-2 implementation along with welding coordination tasks.
Assist in WPS/PQR/WPQ, welder qualification, and consumable control.
Monitor fabrication & welding quality, including dimensional checks & NDT.
Maintain inspection records, FAI reports, NCR logs, weld maps & quality documentation.
Coordinate with production to establish quality gates and workflows.
Handle non-conformances, root cause analysis & corrective actions.
Support customer/third-party audits and ensure compliance with ISO standards.

Desired Skills:

CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification (preferred).
Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding processes, materials & tolerances.
Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T & quality standards.
Experience with ISO 9001 / ISO 3834, audits, and QA/QC practices.
Familiarity with Lean tools (5S, Kaizen) is a plus.
