Lead Engineer ( Mechanical Design, QA-Welding)

Role Description

Lead role

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review 

  2D/3D drawings

   (AutoCAD/Fusion 360), BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Interpret customer specifications, 

  ASME/ISO welding symbols & standards

  , and ensure compliance.

• QA/QC activities

   – WPS/PQR, ITPs, weld maps, material traceability, inspection reports - Guide and mentor junior QC.
• Coordinate with 

  production, purchase, QC, vendors and company management

   to track progress and resolve bottlenecks.
• Lead 

  bi-weekly production meetings

   and update schedules and customer reports.
• Handle 

  First Article (FA) inspections

   – documentation and approvals.
• Investigate 

  customer complaints/NCRs

  , conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.

Experience

• 

  Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
