Develop, implement, and monitor quality control processes to ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements. Conduct detailed analysis of defects, rejections, and customer complaints; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Lead problem-solving activities using tools like 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and FMEA. Support new product development (NPD) by defining inspection plans, quality checkpoints, and validation testing. Prepare and review control plans, process flow diagrams, and work instructions. Coordinate with suppliers for incoming material quality and conduct supplier audits as needed. Guide and train junior engineers/supervisors in inspection techniques and quality system requirements. Ensure calibration of measuring instruments and maintain records as per ISO/IATF standards. Generate and present quality performance metrics to management for continuous improvement.
