Job Description

QA Leads with strong expertise in ETL testing, AWS, SQL, and Snowflake


Overview

As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end testing lifecycle for cloud-based data platforms. You will lead validation efforts, design testing strategies, and ensure high-quality releases of ETL workflows and Snowflake-based data models.


Experience Required: 6–10 Years

Location: Hybrid / Remote (Pune, Bangalore, Gurugram, Hyderabad)


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead QA strategy and execution for

    ETL, Snowflake, and AWS-based solutions.

  • Design and implement

    test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for data validation.

  • Perform strong

    SQL testing for data transformations, aggregations, and performance.

  • Validate integrations across

    ETL tools, Snowflake, and AWS services.

  • Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and product teams to ensure defect-free releases.
  • Drive adoption of QA best practices, automation frameworks, and reporting standards.


Requirements

  • 6–10 years of experience in

    QA/testing, with at least 3+ years in data/ETL QA.

  • Strong expertise in

    AWS services relevant to data workflows.

  • Hands-on experience in

    ETL testing, SQL validation, and Snowflake.

  • Proven ability to design and execute end-to-end QA processes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


Nice to Have

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum QA environments.
  • Knowledge of test automation tools for data validation (e.g., Pytest, DBT tests).
  • Exposure to data governance and compliance testing.
  • Prior experience in performance testing of data pipelines.
