Senior Data Engineer (Azure Focus)

You are a Senior Data Engineer with 8-12 years of experience in Azure and cloud-native data platforms. This remote role across the US requires you to independently design and deliver enterprise-grade data engineering solutions while collaborating with distributed teams. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of Azure-based data engineering solutions. - Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using PySpark, DBT, Spark, and ADF. - Model, manage, and optimize data warehouses in Snowflake. - Write and tune complex SQL queries for performance and reliability. - Collaborate with product, QA, and analytics teams to deliver high-quality data. - Ensure data governance, lineage, and cost optimization in cloud environments. Qualifications Required: - 8-12 years of experience in data engineering. - Strong hands-on expertise in Azure Data Engineering stack (ADF, Data Lake, Synapse, etc.). - Proficiency with PySpark, Spark, DBT, Snowflake, and SQL. - Proven ability to design and deliver end-to-end cloud-native pipelines. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and remote collaboration skills.
