Senior Data Engineer (Azure Focus)

Role Overview: As a Senior Data Engineer with 8-12 years of experience in Azure and cloud-native data platforms, you will be responsible for independently designing and delivering enterprise-grade data engineering solutions while collaborating with distributed teams. This remote role across the US is suited for professionals who can architect and implement scalable data pipelines leveraging Azure, PySpark, DBT, Spark, Snowflake, and ADF. Your primary focus will be on ensuring seamless data availability, quality, and performance while adhering to best practices in governance and security. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of Azure-based data engineering solutions. - Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using PySpark, DBT, Spark, and ADF. - Model, manage, and optimize data warehouses in Snowflake. - Write and tune complex SQL queries for performance and reliability. - Collaborate with product, QA, and analytics teams to deliver high-quality data. - Ensure data governance, lineage, and cost optimization in cloud environments. Qualifications Required: - 8-12 years of experience in data engineering. - Strong hands-on expertise in Azure Data Engineering stack (ADF, Data Lake, Synapse, etc.). - Proficiency with PySpark, Spark, DBT, Snowflake, and SQL. - Proven ability to design and deliver end-to-end cloud-native pipelines. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and remote collaboration skills.
