Job Details Type: Permanent Full-time Location: Bangalore, India LILA Games is looking for a passionate QA Game Tester to join our studio in Bangalore, India, contributing to the delivery of exciting new mobile shooter game experiences for a global audience. As a QA Game Tester, you will be an integral part of the QA team, responsible for executing comprehensive testing across multiple game titles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality of gameplay and user experience. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the game testing lifecycle. Responsibilities Execute functional, regression, negative, smoke, and matchmaking sanity tests on new mobile shooter games to identify gameplay issues. Actively report bugs, maintain detailed documentation, and provide daily updates on testing progress. Log issues in Jira and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Critically review design specifications to provide player-focused feedback, identifying inconsistencies, ambiguities, and edge cases. Participate in playtests and collaborate with design, art, level design, and engineering teams to discuss playability and suggest actionable improvements. Manage iOS and Android devices to ensure proper allocation and availability for testing. Maintain clear and detailed test cases and bug reports with strong technical writing skills. Must Have Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in QA or related roles within the gaming or entertainment industry. Extensive experience playing mid-core or hard-core shooter games such as BGMI, PUBG, COD Mobile, or Garena Free Fire. Strong fundamental understanding of the game testing lifecycle and its applications. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft clear and concise test cases and bug reports. Experience logging defects in Jira or similar defect tracking systems. Proactive, disciplined, and a strong team player with ownership and resilience. Willingness to work in-studio in Bangalore and start immediately. Bonus Skills Near-pro or pro-level experience in competitive shooter games as a player, coach, or analyst. Skilled at understanding player sentiment and identifying root causes of enjoyment or frustration. Familiarity with game engines, programming, scripting, or test automation.
