Key Responsibilities

• Develop automation tools and test frameworks for end-to-end functional and integration testing.
• Lead and mentor test engineers; provide guidance on best practices and process improvements.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to align testing strategies with domain needs.
• Focus on productivity and efficiency through automation, tooling, and process optimization.
• Own end-to-end quality and testing processes including release planning and execution.
• Coordinate test-plan reviews, generate repeatable test procedures, and ensure robust coverage.
• Support testing for trading systems, broker connectivity, and other mission-critical platforms.
  

Must-Have Qualifications

• BE/BTech or equivalent degree.
• 6–8 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in designing test frameworks and white-box testing.
• Clear understanding of financial markets and asset classes (exchange-traded and OTC).
• Proven expertise in building and improving test processes, with a focus on business context.
• Experience testing trading systems and broker connectivity.
• Strong programming knowledge in at least one object-oriented language (Java/.NET/C++).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Perl/Python).
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG) and API test automation.
• Exposure to UI stacks like React/Redux.
• Hands-on experience with UNIX or similar operating systems.
• Experience testing client-server and distributed systems.

• Leadership qualities with proven experience managing test teams.
