About the Role
Prologic Technologies is hiring a skilled QA Engineer with strong manual testing experience and hands-on working knowledge of AI-based QA tools. This role is ideal for someone who understands traditional QA processes but is also comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve test coverage, speed, and accuracy.
You will be responsible for validating web applications built for international clients (US/UK), ensuring they meet high standards of quality, usability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manual Testing
Develop test plans, test cases, and detailed scenarios based on requirements.
Perform functional, usability, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
Validate UI/UX consistency across devices and browsers.
2. AI-Assisted QA
Use AI-powered tools for:
Automated test case generation
Intelligent regression testing
Visual testing / UI anomaly detection
Code analysis or test script assistance
Evaluate AI outputs and refine test cases for accuracy and reliability.
Stay updated on emerging AI QA tools (e.g., Katalon with AI, Testim, Mabl, QA Wolf AI, etc.).
3. API & Database Testing
Test REST / GraphQL APIs using Postman or similar tools.
Validate backend data using SQL queries.
4. Bug Reporting & QA Documentation
Log defects with precise details and maintain test documentation.
Re-test bug fixes and ensure accurate resolution.
5. Collaboration
Work closely with developers, designers, project managers, and QA leads.
Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and client demos.
6. Tools & Technologies
Use bug-tracking tools like Jira / Bugzilla / Trello.
Work with test case management tools like TestRail / Zephyr.
Basic understanding of API tools (Postman) and version control (Git).
Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, etc.).
Must-Have Skills
2 years of hands-on experience in Manual QA for web applications.
Practical experience with AI tools for testing (any AI-based testing or QA assistance tools).
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
Familiarity with Postman for API testing.
Basic SQL knowledge (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
Experience with Jira / Trello / ClickUp for task and bug tracking.
Basic understanding of Git/version control
