QA Engineer

ARTPARK is part of a nationwide Collaborative Environmental Surveillance project that aims to develop early detection and risk assessment mechanisms based on environmental surveillance of high-priority human and animal disease pathogens. This initiative, in partnership with premier research institutions such as the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS), the Tata Institute for Genetics and Society (TIGS), the Gujarat Biotechnology Research Centre (GBRC) and the Pune Knowledge Cluster Foundation, leverages molecular detection, weather data, and disease modelling to enable proactive public health responses. As part of this effort, ARTPARK is building cutting-edge digital tools to support environmental surveillance and advanced data analysis. The project offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful, real-world outcomes through close collaboration with leading research institutions across the country.
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer (3-4 years of experience) who can perform both manual and automation testing for mobile and web applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers and product managers to ensure product quality, stability, and reliability across platforms.

• Test mobile (Android/iOS) and web features end-to-end, ensuring they meet requirements and function smoothly.

• Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and regression suites for new and existing features.

• Develop and run automation scripts for web, API, and mobile applications using tools like Selenium/Appium.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing across all modules.

• Log defects with clear reproduction steps, track their resolution, and collaborate closely with developers.

• Use modern issue tracking and ticket tracking tools like Linear and Zendesk to centralise bugs and issue tracking and coordinate with Engineering and Product team members.

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards, test coverage, and release readiness.

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience in QA testing for mobile and web applications.

• Strong understanding of manual testing, test design techniques, and QA processes in the SDLC.

• Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright, or similar tools.

• Good experience with API testing using Postman, Swagger, or REST-based tools

• Basic SQL knowledge to validate backend workflows and test data.

• Understanding of AI and LLMs in the SDLC, and methods to ensure QA with a HITL

• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in agile teams.
