QA Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with strong product understanding to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks. This role combines technical automation expertise with deep product knowledge to ensure high-quality releases, improved user experience, and scalable testing processes.

Key ResponsibilitiesAutomation Testing

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, RestAssured, etc.
• Build & enhance automation frameworks for UI, API, and Integration testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Ensure test reliability, reusability, and scalability.

Product & Domain Understanding

• Develop in-depth knowledge of the product’s workflows, user personas, and business logic.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to understand feature requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Review product design documents and identify potential risks, edge cases, and usability gaps.

Test Strategy & Execution

• Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data strategies.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing.
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure quick resolution.
• Validate releases and participate in release readiness discussions.

Quality Advocacy

• Promote automation best practices and contribute to quality engineering initiatives.
• Identify areas for process improvement and propose solutions.
• Support teams in adopting test-driven development (TDD/BDD) where applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–4+ years of experience in QA automation or Software Testing.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#).
• Strong experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Postman, RestAssured).
• Experience with CI/CD, version control (Git), and bug tracking tools (JIRA, Azure Boards).
• solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave).
• Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Performance testing tools knowledge (JMeter, Locust, K6).
• Experience testing microservices, Kafka, GraphQL, or containerized applications.
• Prior experience in product-centric or customer-facing environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
