Summary of the Role

As a QA Engineer for Nevio, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of next-generation airline retailing solutions. This role involves designing and executing test strategies, managing defect resolution, and supporting production releases while collaborating closely with development and product teams in an agile environment.

In This Role You’ll / Your Main Responsibilities

Test Planning & Strategy

• Coordinate with R&D and Product teams to gather requirements.

• Define and maintain test strategies and plans aligned with the development lifecycle.

• Ensure requirement traceability and coverage throughout the SDLC.

Test Design & Execution

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for OrMS applications.

• Validate functional, integration, and regression testing for software releases.

• Ensure compliance with performance, accessibility, and security requirements.

Defect Management

• Identify, log, and track defects using standard tools.

• Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues promptly.

Quality Metrics & Reporting

• Monitor KPIs such as defect density, test coverage, and success rates.

• Provide clear reporting on test results and quality status to stakeholders.

Release Management

• Design continuous testing pipelines and provide sign-offs (Go/No-Go) for production releases.

• Support production releases and monitor feedback loops to improve regression suites.

About the Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in QA for distributed systems.

• Strong expertise in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and API testing (Postman, REST Assured).

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter) and test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and version control (Git).

• Knowledge of Agile QA practices and BDD frameworks (Cucumber).

• Basic SQL skills for database validation.

• Understanding of airline or travel solutions and security compliance.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
